A conservative education advocacy organization has launched a new online resource to connect, educate, and mobilize moms across Arizona to protect their parental rights and become more effective advocates for their children.
Moms for America, a national, non-profit 501c3 educational corporation, announced the launch of its new online resource for mothers, Moms for Arizona, designed to provide moms with the information and resources necessary to defend their rights and stand up for their children’s well-being.
Moms for America started in 2004 and “is rooted in the principles of liberty and virtue our nation was founded on and focused on promoting these principles, values, and virtues in the home and family, particularly through the women and mothers of America.”
According to a press release, the Moms for Arizona leadership team includes grassroots director Shiry Sapir, a small business owner; state outreach coordinator Shelli Bogg, a former educator; and state director Mayra Rodriguez, a former Planned Parenthood director and whistleblower.
Sapir and Moms for Arizona also participate in the Education Advocates for Kari Lake coalition, whose goal is to re-establish the intended bond between parents and public education.
Kimberly Fletcher, the founder, president, and CEO of Moms for America, said this resource for Arizona will bring together like-minded moms who encourage each other while learning and promoting truth and liberty in their homes, families, and communities.
“This new website will be an invaluable resource for moms in Arizona who want to fight back against the radical indoctrination of our children and work toward restoring sanity to our education system. The people targeting our kids depend on moms being isolated and ignorant because they know they don’t stand a chance against moms who are united and informed,” Fletcher said.
According to Sapir, Arizona needs to gather an army of moms to regain parental rights and give Arizona children the education they deserve.
“My own experience with the failures of public education – especially the disastrous school closures of 2020 and 2021 – inspired me to take matters into my own hands and fight for my kids. Not all moms have the time or the resources to engage in this fight on their own, which is why I’m excited to work with Moms for America to mobilize an army of moms to take back our rights and give our children the quality education they deserve,” Shapir said.
Moms for America’s mission is to “Empower Moms, Promote Liberty, and Raise Patriots.” They claim to provide support, and a variety of resources to families including literature, family enrichment, conferences, and other events and activities promoted through their website, social media, and newsletter.
